Volunteer Application

Summer semester application is now open!

Summer training sessions include mandatory 40-Hour Survivor Advocacy & Crisis Intervention training, including self-study and in-person meetings as indicated below:

  • Sunday, May 19th 10am - 5pm EST
  • Sunday, June 2nd 10am - 5pm EST
  • Sunday, June 9th 10am - 5pm EST

All in-person sessions are MANDATORY in order to complete training. Virtual attendance options will not be available as alternatives for in-person training sessions.

In-person Crisis Advocacy Training (mandatory for any volunteers who opt to provide in-person response as a Crisis Advocate):

  • Sunday, June 23rd 12-5pm EST

Training Informational Meeting

Informational meeting about volunteer opportunities to be held on Tuesday, April 30th at 6pm via zoom. This meeting is NOT mandatory in order to apply or volunteer.

The application for the MSU Center for Survivors Summer 2024 Training has closed and we are no longer accepting applications at this time.

If you are interested in getting involved with the program in the future, we will hold training again in the fall and spring semesters.
